I am working for a company that had a website several years ago. I thought I knew what the name was so I entered in the wayback machine on the home page of this IA site. I was able to come up with a graphical history for the website url. When I clicked on the different months I was able to see what the old site looked like vs the new one.

It gave me an idea what was out there before and what we have now.

http://www.robscustomcabinetry.net

The above url is the current site name and I just loaded it into wayback machine. They said it would take about 6 months to get the site loaded.

The old site name was http://www.robscustomcabinetry.com/

So it the your companies old site was archived in the wayback machine you have a chance to take a look at it at various times.

Hope this helps

Lately, It's taking many months for websites to appear on the Internet Archive. The Internet Archive has limited funding, so it takes an long time to process data.

I should know, I submitted a site back in february 2008 and it's still not on the Internet Archive.
